At Steve's place, he's improvising on his new Yamaha CP300... it was on this day that my mother passed away, I was over at his place late into the night playing the piano with him, mostly listening though... and decided to record this... as Steve would say... enjoy...

you meant running up and down in the key of D :-)

It's a nice melody not too complicated, but that's not necessary. It would be nice to have someone playing guitar next to it to accentuate the melody more. I would have used more than 3 chords, because B C D is not enough, you could add an F and G for example :-) just a hint.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother. This is a very beautiful piece though. So when you say improvisation...does that mean he was just playing as he was going or was he improvising on piece that he already knew?
