First thought: Slow down. Not so much a tempo thing - you can rock slow songs and vice versa; it's all about the vibe, baby. If you're not feeling it, no one else will be, either. You're a talented enough musician and have a beautiful voice - just get into the groove... FEEL your music... Nice work.

nice vocals...like the others said, slow it down. i would love to hear it slower, with more louder vocals.

Stop reading from sheet music and playing to a metronome. You're rushing it, missing accents, disregarding volume changes. You missed the inflection of the music entirely.
Go get yourself a glass of wine. Have a couple of glasses. Get good and loose. Read the lyrics and try to understand their meaning. Take a deep breath. Play, without regard to your possible mistakes and let the music come out of you, as it is meant to.

i've been trying to get the bridge down on my piano forever now. its a fairly easy song to play except for that echo. i cant get it down.
amazing job though.

haha i guess i cheated cause i found sheet music online. not the official version, but a pretty decent transcription. i don't remember the link, but i have the pdf saved on my computer, if you'd like it.
