Rey Mysterio Jr. Sr.and Konnan incite a RIOT at Lucha show

Main Event: 14 man tag Elimination Match (Survivor Series)
Konnan, El Hijo De Santo, La Parka, El Dandy, Hector Garza, Lizmark Jr & Super Calo vs. Psicosis, Juventud Guerrera, Villano 4, Villano 5,Silver King, Damien 666, Halloween & Zandokan

The final ends up being Psicosis vs. Konnan, La Parka, Lizmark Jr. Psicosis kicks out of everything Konan and Parka give him, and pins them both. Unfortunately he is upset by Lizmark Jr and is pinned.

This is where the fun starts. Rey Jr comes out to congratulate Lizmark Jr. He ends up attacking Psicosis.
Then Santo comes out and attacks Psicosis as well. Then Rey Misterio Jr attacks Santo. Before you know It the locker room is empty and a fan attacks Rey Sr with a dangerous drop kick. The guy makes a sprint for the exit chased out of the Arena by Damien.

Rey Misterio Jr and Konnan, both wearing NWO shirts, are being booed. Rey actually unmasks BOTH Psicosis & Santo, and thats like blasphemy to the Lucha community. Rey Sr. & Konnan parade Rey Jr. on their shoulders holding both masks in his hands and all hell breaks loose as fans throw chairs and storm the ring!!

A ringside fan actually gives Rey Misterio Sr. a chair Shot from behind the railing. Rey Misterio returns the favor. The crowd goes berserk and begins to riot. Chairs are flying every where and fans are fighting.

From what I can gather from, The technical were pissed that Rey & Konnan were going to the US (presumably to work for WCW around this time). Konnan had apparently turned heel, as this was his promotion and joined forces with Rey Jr. & Sr.

Rey & Konnan from what I remember were under contract at WCW at that time but as WCW was getting excess talent from the Lucha Libra promotions they formed a partnership which enables them to use WCW talent at their shows!
