Detroit: Tenants tear house down with truck and chain.

What happened to the house across the street because it wasn't like that when we all went to bed," said Candace Thomas. "I think it's horrible. I think it's really ignorant. I don't know why they would tear the front of a house off. I don't know if it was like revenge or anything like that because they were out here Sunday packing up and moving and everything was normal. Then, we come out here this morning and the house was trashed."

The residents moved over the weekend and Monday night allegedly used a truck and chain to pull off the front porch.

"I heard ... a whole lot of stuff just crashing down," said Ton'e Young, who lives next door. "When they did it, I came, I saw. Like, wow, is this like really happening? They hooked the chain up and brought it down."
