Brett claims that the address he used belonged to the web hosting site that housed a trolls website. Unfortunately, this proof is inconclusive.

When you look up a registrant doing a WhoIs search, you usually get the home or business address of the person who registered the site—not the address of the ISP that is hosting the site.

I don't see why anyone ever took this straightd0pe guy seriously.

He was a troll. You could tell that by not only looking at his vids by brett keane, but his other previous videos. They were all troll videos. The only reason he got backing was because a lot of people hate Brett Keane. You thought the evidence was good against him, but it wasn't. You know that now regarding the dmca's I'm sure.

I wouldn't call him a troll. He presented credible evidence that Brett PROBABLY was behind the first DMCAs. I don't believe at this point that Brett = ArmsofAllah, but he was presenting the truth as he saw it.

He had good reason for believing what he believed. He wasn't just making up shit in a vacuum. He may ultimately prove to be wrong, but his approach is reasonable given Brett's history and the evidence he had.

I realize I may be twisting and contorting myself every possible way to make this mealy argument, but the snapshot you offer as is, is plausibly deniable. The attribution "By Brett Keane" all by its lonesome in the sidebar, does not really tell us if it's for the poem or the video. Even his title: 'Poem: Erase My Innocence' can be construed both ways.

Now that I'm a pretzel, I thank you for your videos. Sadly, much evidence is forever missing for me to make a determination,
