It is true that not everybody has a computer, but ever more people get one. The mobile-device users who own a computer are hundreds of millions anyway; doing something for them is already doing a lot.

The idea of this kind of - universal - charger is good (though perfectible). Problem is, manufacturers will always think of making money and not helping end users like you and me save their own, nor will CEO's and big shareholders ever think of (enhancing) the mob's personal comfort.

Bad language will not solve any problem. If you feel that anyone should still be cursed, then curse the people (i.e., the manufacturers & resellers) who charge you a number of times more than the actual price of a product rather than somebody who thinks your life could be simpler.

1 billion NEW mobile phones per year are made. You may not even need a charger as you may have a USB port handy at home, if not you can buy one seperately. That is price only added if you need it. Once you have a USB charger then you never need to pay for another chager. The USB drive fits into the phone so it is one device.
