  • using fire on the sugar cube was to mask the flavor of sub par absinthe. Using sugar alone was to enhance standard absinthe. Adding a bit of chilled water is all that is needed with premium product.

  • I prefer "La Louche" without catching the sugar on fire.

  • @rocko2321 you can doi it that way its called the bohemian method however your not suppused to catch it all on fire your supposed to bluw out the fire in the glass and wait for the sugar to carmelize
