  • The story is great. You meet these people that are in exactly the same boat and you have a natural kinship. You say "Oh man, we gotta get together," you really hit it off, and then at end of the night you go your separate ways and continue doing your thing and probably never see them again. It's strange. But it's quite a common event, meeting people that you feel like you've known all your life, and then you really only know them for half an hour.

  • the albums these guys have put out are the soundtrack to thousands of Canadian's lives, and I'm one of them.

I never go on a roadtrip without a stack of their stuff on board. Canada's open roads were made for listening to these songs.

  • Fantastic song! I wish the closed-minded US stations would give this band their due. Never even heard of 'em until now.

  • Phantom Power is one of my absolute favourite albums. Fockin' brilliant!

  • @blurrybigfoot74 Amen to that brother

    That is The Hip!

  • A great song about a great songwriter. Has a whole new meaning, since the Travellin' Man escaped for good 13 years ago. Visited his grave a year and-a-half ago. It was a tough moment for me.

  • thanks for posting, I lost my Phantom Power and I always loved this one the most.

  • I remember when 103.7 the river played this album entirely when it first came out. What a great song. What a great station. Got replaced by a *%$ country station where I am. It was one of the few good radio stations that made it across the border to the states because it played REAL music . . . Canadian music.
