The articulation hitch was badly worn on this 570A John Deere Motor Grader.
The owner called Larry at Cross Country Services to come and refurbish it.
This is the video of that service call.

  • I liked, es muy bueno e ingenioso.

  • Looks like some quality work to me. I had even considered getting into this line of work. I have a friend who does this stuff. Thing is, I'm about 800 miles from where he lives, otherwise I'd hit him up for some advice and training. Oh well...

  • Just come across line boring for the first time. Seems like an excellent job. Thanks for sharing your video. I have one question though, is there any need to chamfer the bore for fitting the bushings or do you normally just clean them up by hand?

  • Looks like a top quality job. How many operating hours would you expect the machine to do before it all needs doing again?

  • Well done! I am impressed with what you were able to do especially out in the field.
