Daggerfall vanity

Daggerfall: some vanity and starting a random Mages Guild quest. Name was Zanasj...

Here's my character, purchasing a ship, stashing some loot and bumbling through the initial steps of a quest, some violence included. As I have a custom class, I can wear plate armor. With high INT + WIL and Spell Absorbtion (in darkness) special advantage, I can absorb my own area effect spells to hurl an insane amount of lightning death (custom spell) at foos.
This game has been released as freeware. It can be played using e.g. DosBox.

Daggerfall is a moderately enjoyable game by Bethesda Softworks, and it has many features and design choices that I would have liked to see in Oblivion. Of course, über confusing dungeons are not one of them. The game has many quirks (and bugs) that can cause some serious trouble. With that in mind, here are some hints and observations:

0. Be sure to buy some fancy clothing! :D
1. Save before getting a quest (e.g. talking to someone), save before entering a dungeon. Save often while inside a dungeon, in a separate slot.
2. If you fall into a void inside the dungeons, it's a good thing that you SAVED (didn't you?).
3. I didn't know you could "climb" through a narrow opening in a dungeon! Or was there an alternate route after all...?
4. Not everything can be learned from UESPwiki or FAQs, but if you DO get stuck, read them!
5. Edit z.cfg for your convenience, not to make the game too easy.
6. It's possible to become completely stuck on the main quest.
7. There are several patch files available.
8. Teleport is a must (for the sake of sanity), levitation and water walking & breathing are very useful.
9. NONE of the daedra are to be underestimated!
10. Now, how did the saying about a free lunch go? :)

Btw, as for my character, next stops include: more looting, quests and hopefully eventually daedra summoning.

@lazermunky25 No, as far as I know. This is the free-to-download Daggerfall with latest official patches and unofficial bugfixes. I don't know if they add more faces.

I find this game very refreshing,I mean it reminds me of my childhood,It's also a change to today's games with Achivements,overall good game my man,now to download it!!!
