  • thankyou very much sir i needed that god bless

  • Thanks for your comment mate. I know how you feel. While it was all happening to me I never understood the significance of it all but once I clicked to how God was working in my life then it all came clear. It is simply stuff really but our prideful, sinful nature does not want to listen to God. We think we can do things ourself. God bless,

    Mick

  • Thank you, especially you comment about some earthly pleasure "we don't entirely want to give IT up" - 'nuff said. We must NOT put our faith in our own ability to overcome sin. Our full faith must be placed solely in Jesus Christ and His Finished work on the Cross of Calvary whereby He has give to us all things pertaining to Life and GODLINESS (2 Peter 1:3). That includes our sanctification. Listen to SonLifeRadio(dot)org.

  • Yes, I sure agree that we can't rely on ourselves to overcome sin; we have to call upon the power of the Lord to give us the strength to do it. Nothing is impossible for the Lord. He can easily overcome the Goliaths in our life. He has done it time and again in my life and I am ever thankful for His love and patience. Regarding 2 Pet 1:3 I just made another video on that verse. It is called Born Again, What Does It Really Mean. Thanks and God bless, Mick

  • Gen 9:2 tells us that God put the fear of man into animals. That is why your dog cowers before you. Animals have memories ... but they don't have God's Spirit which gives them morals. If they did then some lions would know to love all other animals and not eat them, just like some people know to love all people and not harm them. Animals can communicate danger also ... look at meerkat sentries for example ... they have instincts which warn them but not morals.

  • They may have thought it but look at Matt 7:21-23. Thinking, saying or doing has nothing to do with the reality. For example, a man can put on a police uniform but this won't make him honest. It is all a matter of the heart. They were clearly not Christian as Jesus commands us to love our enemies, not slaughter those who hold different views. All murderers will be held accountable for their actions ... they will be condemned.

  • Btw I looked up Gen 9:2 and it doesn't have anything to do with dogs knowing god's morals.

Who are the Animals afraid of? Noah.

Why? "Everything that lives and moves will be food for you."

I'm not sure why you think any part of this chapter has to do with animals knowing God's morals.

  • "They weren't Christian Captain. "

They thought that they were. They thought that since the Jews were the ones who killed Jesus, they were fulfilling god's will.

  • They weren't Christian Captain.

  • Well I will leave you to your faith, but I strongly disagree.

Incidentally... the Nazis all swore a Christian oath.

They killed millions of Jews, in God's name, and God didn't stop them. Interesting...
