Harry walking with Weight Activated Stance control (KAFO, leg braces)) on Right Leg

This is the first week of harry walking with his stance control brace on the right leg. Harry has quickly adapted from his previous locked leg brace which he needed to swing through, rather than leading with a bent knee as in a normal stride, as he is doing now. Thanks to Darren Pereira at Neuromuscular-orthotics in Melbourne for making this possible.

Is it a special leg brace for kids?

Could he walk without leg braces?

@bigalexkid Yes - 'Horton' have been making stance-control units for a few years, but the joint on his right knee is a prototype gifted to us by the wonderful Darren Pereira (who made the leg brace for us).

@bigalexkid and no - he can't walk without bracing on his legs... his left leg is weak and hyper-extends without bracing and his right leg is completely paralysed - the movement you can see is driven from his hip, but he can't actually move the leg at all...
