1997 Australasian ITF Final - DJ Kuya (Aus) vs DJ Raw (NZ)

The 1997 Inaugural Australasian ITF Final was contested between DJ Kuya and DJ Raw. At the announcement of DJ Kuya as one of the finalists, some of the crowd weren't happy as they thought that DJ AFK should've defeated Kuya in their semi. After some restlessness in the crowd, Organizer Leo Tanoi came out and asked for calm before the final went ahead. DJ Raw was crowned champion however DJ Kuya gained a lot of respect for a very competitive final set. Both would go on to compete in the 1997 World ITF Finals later that year in the Advancement category.
