Mary is one sista that has paid her dues and somehow remained real and relevant. She will be one of the legends of our future in music...comparable to Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle, Anita Baker etc......Most of the petrie dish musical artist of today will not be relevant twenty years from now. The music put out today is based on looks only not substance and true vocal abilities.

This is a very moving performance, she is singing about her life, things she has been through, thats what make this song so special, love her!!! She has been through a lot and come through it for the better, GOD BLESS YOU MARY!!!! : )

This is how a true singer connects to their song. Watch~.15 to .19 She sang this hundreds of times but is still able to connect to the feelings. Best R&B ever. Who else out there puts their SOUL on the line; all the time?

The comment about Beiber and his "300 MiILLION VIEWS" is naive at best and intolerant at worst. I love Mary J. I love this song and her performance blows me away. That said, pretty sure Blige and Beiber ain't in the same market y'all. Beiber is for children. His appeal is for 12 yr old girls. And what's wrong with that? If it makes them happy then what business is it of YOURS? How many teenagers could POSSIBLY relate to what Mary J is singing about? Worry 'bout your own life brother!

@jrr1234567890 Stereotype much?...I don't see how she's angry when she's singing about having no more drama in her life. O_o It's called passion for what you do. She obviously has gone through some things and expresses that very well with this piece.
