This video shows how head tracking can be used to create a very realistic 3D illusion. Instead of using a WII remote like Johnny Lee did, we only use an ordinary webcam.

  • now what remains is to correct the perspective distortion caused by viewing the tv from a wide angle.

    for example:

    the tv shows a 3d sphere, it should look the same from all directions, but as you move to the side, it starts to look like an ellipse. the 3d engine should stretch the image to counter this distortion, then it will become truly 3d :-D
