Actually, those are Warr guitars. Sticks don't have a body (except for the NS/Sticks, but those don't have a head).

there's not particular difference between a warr and a stick, so let's just stick to 'touch-style guitars' or 'tapping-guitars'

Warr guitars are exactly like sticks, but their bodies allow you to play them on your lap, horizontally.

The guitar is called a "chapman stick". Combination guitar and bass but played like a piano.

it's no shamisen. it's an instrument called "Saz", but it is very similar to the shamisen in the shape so I can the cause to confusion...
