@DTheRedCloak Actually, he's making himsef known to his victim before killing and eating him. That's what Wendigos too. Tey toy with you for a while while you can't see them, and they show themselves to you right before killing you and eating you and hanging what's left of you on those trees. Pesky critters, Wendigos.

i think these things from lost tapes are fake because who the hell would carry a camera every where they go and happens to fun into these creatures and how no one every gets a good shot

And you're right. Most humans don't know about these myths and legends and most of those who do know don't believe. It's always like this, actually. "If I don't see it with my own eyes, it doesn't exist.". Just like a human to have such limitive thinking. It drives me crazy.

@irobot428 It's because he committed cannibalism and the Wendigo spirit took his body. When Matthew Gaahl here ate the flesh of another human, the Wendigo spirit entered his body and forced his soul out. Now, Matthew Gaahl is no longer in that body. He's dead. And the Wendigo took the body for himself and that body became that hideous monster.
