Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain the massive creatures... Our story begins when a jaded US journalist (McNairy) begrudgingly agrees to find his boss' daughter, a shaken American tourist (Able) and escort her through the infected zone to the safety of the US border.

@Guds777 That's because they had a budget of $500,000. That's very little to make a movie and it did better than anyone would have thought it would. That made Hollywood really interested in the director(Gareth Edwards). In fact, he is currently directing another movie, this time it will have a huge budget so you might not be disappointed . The movie's name is Godzilla, sadly, you'll have to wait until 2012,2013 or 2014. Search it up, it's an interesting movie project.

@qmarkr333 ...still doesn't fix the graphics...
Ahahah sorry sorry just had to be a smart ass there. And I know it was probably a very difficult job and probably turned out the best it could be...i'm just not a fan of computer graphics even when they are good....but that's just me.

This actually wasn't that bad, granted I wish there was a little more focus on the monsters and there was some potential during scenes to push them from ok or good to great. I'm sure that Legendary Pictures saw potential in the director if they chose him to direct the new Godzilla film, all he needs is a bigger budget.
