Steffi Graf and Dunlop MAX 200G PRO II tennis racquet (which John McEnroe also used as a magical weapon). I still own this racquet and I love that magic soft feel like vintage wood racquets!

  • I plan to be buried with my Max 200 G.

  • No, I meant the best racquet ever made bar none. Injection molding was the best technology ever used for the making of tennis racquets and that is the reason for this particular racquet to be so unique. It was a technology that truly made a difference and that difference could be actually felt, contrary to the gimmicky new technologies of today. Contemporary technologies are being thrown at us every year with the claim that they improved the abilities of the racquets over the previous model-lies

  • The Max 200G - what an awesome racket. I got this as a kid - must have saved up for months as I think it cost £70 in 1984!) - but it was worth it! Just having this racket made me feel like a great player (even though I was mediocre!)

  • It is an excellent racket (but mine is broken) as is the pro staff original (which I still use). I'd have to say that the pro staff is better, but I'd happily take either over any racket made in the last 15 years.

  • Mine is a TAD Davis Duke. And I have a TAD Davis Topspin that's diagnolly strung, it's warped though :( but the Duke isnt :D

  • man i love wooden ones. I dont see what's so special with these new technology racquets. I love how a wooden bends back and springs foward when hitting the ball. they act like a spring board. nothing like a good board.

  • I have that racquet

  • However, in most cases, no significant difference could be felt except for the new paint and other visual changes... When I say Dunlop MAX 200G is the best racquet ever made, I have a point and I know what I am talking about.

  • after the pro staff you mean...riiiggghhhhttt?????

  • I have a mint Kramer Pro Staff (Mac's first racket on tour) - never strung. Never tried the 200G so I can't say which is better.
