that is the difference between a socialist dictatorship and a capitalist dictatorship, one kills millions of people and build tanks, the other sells millions of t-shirts and build... better tanks. ; )

my father hated culture revolution, he had to wait 3 years before going to university.

well westerners just want to put us inside some museum and marvel at us like relics. Chinese need to give ourselves a vision to move forward. So, Jiangqin was right!

I believe that there is some contemporary footage mixed in with the 1972 footage. Note the colorful Western clothing worn by the group of men walking in a line in the beginning, for example.
