  • @XxDaHaBreHxX try pharmacist

  • what is that one of those key words...paradigm shift?

  • and some jobs tell you when to go to the bathroom. who has that kind of bladder control?

  • I highly recommend getting a second job and make that your "get rich" scheme. If you have the extra time, instead of going out partying on the weekends, use that time to work a second job, or try one of these programs. I just hate to see anyone get suckered into another scheme like I did. I tried SO many of them, and none of them worked for me. I convinced myself I could do do this and my failure was the program's fault and tried something else. These schemes aren't for everyone....

  • And if you want to "get rich" and retire young, pay down your debt as fast as possible. If you have high interest credit cards, skip eating out until it's paid off and put any extra income towards that. Say you are paying 18% in interest, that's an 18% yield by just eliminating that debt! So pay off the highest rate stuff first and so on and so on. Payoff your mortgage that much faster if it's the only thing left. The faster you pay that early on in the life of the loan the better.

  • And if you want to "get rich" and retire young, work hard so that you can do just that. Work OT every chance you get and invest 100% of that. Get a job that pays bonuses and invest 100% of that. Forgo eating out at lunch and pack a sack lunch and invest 100% of the difference. Work a second job and invest 100% of that income (be sure you have them hold out the max on taxes on that second income or you might find you owe taxes at the end of the year because of the higher income bracket).

  • If you want to "get rich" and retire young, my advise to you is to work REALLY hard in your job and move up the ladder slowly. Nobody is going to pay you $100k after 3 years. Just know it takes time, another employer isn't just going to pay you $100k if you have 3 years of experience doing a lot of high end work either. It's important to settle down. Job hopping on a resume really hurts you. My advise is job hop early until you figure out what you want to do. Work a ton of temp jobs too.

  • And yeah, it sucks. What teachers in HS and College lead us to believe is not real. They lead you to believe that if you just do well in school, and get good grades, and get a degree then the job tree will pour job opportunities. And that just isn't true, and it's a shame. I have a college degree, in business, from ASU, and I made $10/hour right out of college just a few years ago. 10 years later I am looking at making $15/hour.

  • I'm not saying you won't do well, just because I didn't do well. But the truth is you probably won't get rich doing any of these. Best case scenario is you are out the few bucks you put in to "join" in the scheme. Worst case scenario is you are a lot of money when you didn't make any income and lost time that you could have been working in the "real world".

  • How many people do you know that retired early? Learn from them! See what they actually did to be able to retire early and learn as much as you can from them all. And then do what they did. DON'T buy into these schemes. Yeah, some people make a boat load of money. Law of averages though is that you are average. I got suckered into dozens of these and for 99% of the people out there you won't make a dime, and you will lose respect of friends if you try to recruit them to "get rich"...
