And I agree, the Green Day lyrics "when the smoke clears, here I am - your reject all-American" from the song "Reject" always make me think of that band. Especially since the song came out 1 year before they formed.

@aarwonable Good for them. Green Day have sold 70 million albums world wide, 25 million in the USA alone. Their last album, in 2009, went #1 in 24 different countries. They've won 5 Grammy Awards, one of them just last year. They're within the top 10 "liked" music Facebook pages. A lot of popular artists today, from all kinds of genres, have said that the first album that they ever bought was by Green Day (including Lady Gaga). JUST in case you were trying to compare statistics...LOL.

LOL legends of punk? Green Day, maybe. They've had a large influence on a lot of people from a lot of different genres and generations. They've even influenced Lady Gaga. And even Green Day aren't simply punk. They're pop/punk/rock. A mix of a lot of different genres. But the All American Rejects aren't legends.

green day is legit they play music that is good and has meaning. AAR is a bunch of faggots thinking they are sweet just cuz they were signed. they got some good songs but other then that they suck balls. thanks bye
