  • I marvel at this man's intelligence.

  • I can't help but think when I watch him reading this poetry that within him there must have been a raw nerve being exposed, part of himself still in that stage of initial grief over Keith and Kit's death. Very emotional to watch, as an admirer of his work and the honesty he's always put in it.

  • You can't beat an intelligent rebel :-)

  • @BrickLaneBetty OOps, cannot forget the women Betty. I'd like to say Heart, Debbie Harry, Janis Joplin, Chrissie Hynde, Grace Slick, Joan Jett(?) there are many.

Madonna is too pop however, not rock for me.

  • @Thejbirdy and the women of rock would be?

  • @abt7217tc How does THAT imply one is gay? YOU brought that up. Sounds pretty idiotic to me. I was talking about songwriters, speaks volumes on you.

  • @Thejbirdy if ur implying that Pete is gay, ur an idiot

  • pete nearly lost his bottle at kilburn, talk about hissy fits

  • Bowie, John&Paul, Mick&Keith, Hendrix, Morrison and of course Pete. These are landmark gentlemen.

Then there are the women of rock as well......

  • @clintkantor A true renaissance man

  • Pete is a icon.

  • His own genius is so amazing. Between writing songs, keeping other relationships, having to make the obligatory publicity talk shows, parties, and tried to manage his spiritual and his physical needs -whether w/drugs and the rest, whilst losing his marriage, he still managed to look like it was all together. No wonder Roger felt so sad that Pete pushed him away to the point that he wanted to approach him, but was asked to just leave him alone so much; behind blue eyes. He's strong!
