This is such an easy and fun DIY for making your own scented soy candles. They are perfect for Mother's Day, Christmas and other gifts. I used vintage teacups from the thrift store as a container but I think those cute little vintage tins would be nice too!

Find the soy wax on Ebay or Etsy for the best price!
Here is the link to where I found the creme brulee scent:

  • I know you used 1/2 a pound for three candles. Is that about accurate? I am making 125 teacup candles as favors for my wedding and I was trying to get an estimation of how much wax I am probably going to need for 125 candles.

  • @passionsinger555 Yes, sorry....I didn't really measure :( That sounds accurate! Wonderful wedding favors!!

  • Can you use any pots? Or just non-stick pots?

  • @SuBelleza I'm not sure....I just happened to grab this one from the thrift store :)

  • could i just melt other candles and pour into cups? love this idea thanks

  • @valflower1 Yes, I bet you could do that. I just had fun creating my own scents! I just purchases lavender and country spice. The creme brule` I made in the video smells insanely good!!!!

  • @karinacorona17 Thank you! I get a few here and there......but mostly love ;) I'm working on editing the vintage haul today, yay!!

  • seriously you are one of the yutubers that has never had haters you must be doing everything right , keep making videos

  • @Dankness2012 The flash point for soy wax is close to 500 degrees. This would happen if your wax is exposed to an open flame for an extended amount of time, not by simply melting it over a stove for 3 minutes. No need to freak :P
