This works after anything Chun can safejump after:

Neutral throw
c.hk
ex legs
b+mk,mk, d,u+mk
airthrow
etc.

I got the idea from watching Nuki vs. Daigo, and when Nuki jumped in Daigo never tried to do a shoryuken, even though you could clearly see that Nuki was jumping early enough to have to eat it.
So I checked it up in training mode, and this is why I think Daigo wasn't trying to wakeup shoryuken.

After you've conditioned someone with this you can open up xup j.lk, j.hp~hp shenanigans.
So instead of never jumping against a downed shoto, you can pretty much always do it now :3

  • Your option select here should be Air HK. before touching the ground buffer c.hk. and the minute you touch the ground c.mk cancel into medium firball. this way you're safe from everything except the reversal ofcourse.

  • @IlIl00

Why would you do c.mk x mp kikouken upon landing, that way you're giving up pressure for a measly 15dmg in chip or something. If you're close and have frame-advantage you should always be pressuring with frame-traps/throws etc.

  • Can't get the timing for this safe jump right, I've gotten reversal LP SRK, slightly delayed LP SRK and reversal MP SRK to beat it. Do I need to walk forward that exact distance, and how early/late should I be inputting the HK?

  • @FullAutoDeath

I really don't know what tips to give, just keep trying until you find the right timing.

Once you get it down it's not that hard to get consistent with it, I can land it pretty much whenever I want now.

  • @skatanmilla

Alright thanks anyways, I'll just have to grind training mode for awhile lol. One more question though, does this work in Super?

  • @FullAutoDeath

I don't see why it wouldn't, I haven't been playing too much Chun in super.

  • This doesn't work in 2012

  • @skatanmilla This is what i usually do with chun li. the main pressure tool is m.fireball and s.mp poke. very affective and aggressive. specially if you're opponent is stuck on the wall(the end of the screen). i just do lp lp lp then s.mp m.fireball. one more s.mp and overhead flip kick. in case it's block focus dash and grab.. believe works just perfect.

  • nice os

  • @ian327 You are correct.

  • @Drgnak he said that you do j.rh meaty so they have no time to do a late dp

  • what's the input dude??
