Former Resident Pamela Morgan Bates living a legacy due to her youngest son Jason Warren Bates (RIP). Jason was an Organ Donor to (LOPA) Louisiana Organ Agency. You may or may not know that Pamela was the first African American female to open a full service day spa in Shreveport Louisiana on line ave. in 1990. Because she was a trend setter in the industry; she was the first to bring to shreveport the luxury Pedicure chair that got massive attention in the community, and setting the standard for spa services. Pamela and her former husband and three sons were an upper middle class African American family who made a difference for other families while setting high goals and achieving them with economy develope in business. Pamela came home for a visit aftemr moving away once getting a divorce and took the images you see here in this video from the 11th floor of Sam's town casino; created this video and sent it to the times on line website in honor of her son and hometown. The day spa still exist as a land mark today name Elegant Nails Body Care Salon.
