I have an idea. DUCK!!!! lol

I want to gather a handful or so Atheists to help the homeless in Austin. Long story, check it out.

I need constructive criticism: Is this a good idea? What am I forgetting? Make sure you pay attention to the whole video, because I say a lot about this.

Also I didn't pronounce the name of another group correctly. It's "Caritas," not "Charitas." Err! Boy is my face red. :o)

  • R E P E N T A M E R I C A google that

  • CreationPhotography - Dude you are SO blocked. For hate-speech, preaching, and numerous other offensive god-spewings.

  • thanks joe. You are a true, kind and caring human being who does what he does in concern, not image of concern. Many christian funds do so because they try to push christianity as some caring organisation. Everyone knows an organisation can be selfish to the point of oblivion. hahaha

  • Thank you! It's nice to be noticed. :o)

  • I was at HEB last week and a homeless guy offered to buy me up to $100 worth of groceries if I would pay him $30 cash after we check out with the food. He had a welfare card.

  • Totally illegal! He could get into real trouble for doing that, plus probably also anyone who helps him.

This is one reason why I don't give homeless folks cash, or money of any kind.

  • Sweet!

  • So how do i get you on the show to tell my listeners about AAHH?

  • I understand his point, but there are so many more examples of atheists doing the best for human kind versus the religious

  • this is absolutely great. its great for the homeless, and its great for atheists.

    well done.

  • I been volunteering at a christian soup kitchen for years most people there have no Idea I'm an atheist. When I do things for people they say 90% of the time say "God Bless you" its kind of like one step forward and two steps back. I kind of taking the position people need help without the sermon. I just say "I'm an atheist" its up to them if they want be educated about it.

  • Well done, it's great what you're doing. I wish I could help you there on the ground in Austin, but I live in Europe. Anyway bravo. From a brother atheist.

  • Thanks for the work you're doing to help the homeless.

  • Wow, excellent idea, P.H.A.S.E. does a similar thing but for just for homeless Youth though... Don't forget, clean socks are amazing things.
