i have had 2 kindles and the E-ink system always messes up and brakes the darn thing. Would you say I should get the kindle fie, or the Nook color?

Finger prints and going outside with it doesn't really matter to me. what I would like to know is which one do you recommend. Nook color or Ipad?

@GDNA05 - If money is no object, iPad. Hands down its a better experience with magazines, newspapers, and everything else.

Don't like the backlighting at all. Don't need them with floaters. touch screens are always dirty withy finger prints. I want to be able to get the internet and books anywhere without my PC or Laptop. Don't like the glare on the backlighted readers. Love the color. When will there be a reader with color, but not backlighting and glare? Technology changes everyday, so this shouldn't be hard to do.

I got my mom a Nook Color for mothers day earlier this year and she loves it! I actually started reading books on hers and just recently got my own Nook Color instead :P There's millions of free books on it which i read mostly, and they're constantly adding new apps to it all the time so its sort of turning into a tablet :)

i want a ipad but i prefer the kindle because:

1: ITS LIGHTER!

2: it only takes 60 SECS to download a book.

3:internet is free, curtasy of amazon.
