Yup. Sorry to say but its a flop. Yeah ken zhu was there but the chemistry isn't there. It didn't really work out for Ken and Iza. Besides one reason too is that its with GMA. Sorry but that's true.

I think sesylu2 took koldexx21's comment wongly. koldexx21 was actually praising batanes (the movie and the place).
The "squatters/basura" refers to d themes often sent to intl filmfests... stories set in the slums, revolving arnd poverty, sex trade, gay rel'nships, etc. For some reason, IFFs like them (a dose of reality daw) thus we kept churning up these kinds of entries.
BATANES is a breath of fresh air 'coz it tells a diff story, a more beautiful side of our country. Kudos to the staff!
