When you do these retarded "hide my phone and text" methods, you're fooling no one. Usually teachers just make a mental note to lower your score. As for me, when I see idiots do this I automatically think they're retards.
My calculus professor talked to me about it once when ranting about a morning class. She said she just remembers how many times they do it and takes off a couple points off their average every time she sees it.
