Tammy Miser, sister of a victim of a 2003 combustible dust explosion in Huntington, IN, testifies at a U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and Labor hearing concerning legislation to help prevent worksite explosions like the one at the Imperial Sugar refinery in Port Wentworth, Georgia, in early February that killed 12 workers and critically injured 11 others.

  • I'm actually the son of Tammy Miser, my mom

  • Tammy Miser is actually my mom

  • This testimony of Tammy Miser ripped right through me as if this tragic story was my own . & I applaud her for her bravery in doing what most of us cant or wont do. Whets disappointing about watching this is what appears to be a lack of concern and/or attention from 2 of the 3 men sitting behind her. The whole point of a hearing like this is to listen & be heard by all in attendance in an effort to work together with our government to bring about change to a system that is severely flawed.
