I was there. Remember some guy on stage dancing naked. Got there early and got a spot by a small tree. I think we had the only cooler of beer there. Not sure which year, but the group Elizabeth played.
I know from personal trips to Philly from Lancaster from 1969 thru the 80's there was never a lack of music! Seemed like a concert or festival of some kind was going on almost every weekend!!! Rock on Philly!!!
Brings back memories. I was at the orginal Earth Day and the first Be-ins. Belmont Plateau, Fairmont Park, Sweet Stavin Chain-Wow it's been a long time since i heard those names. 60s concerts at Electric factory- saw Jethro Tull, Amboy Dukes, Iron Butterfly, and the greatest Philly band-Mandrake Memorial.
