i know this may be too late, but i live in nyc city and it's awful. go somewhere else. the weather is awful, the people are awful (not to mention physically unattractive), and the high rent....nuff said

You'll see racism you'll never see in america!!! its like the 20's!!! my brother lived there for 1 & 1/2 years and his best friend there was Moroccan and people would spit on him from their windows and throw trash on him!!! and thats normal and funny!!! i know people in the US give funny looks & blah blah blah but there its REAL!!!

don't even bother going to nyc is has gotten very racism and high prices on anything.we have a lot of people from l.a out here and is gotten worse within the last 4 years.if i am you i would just stay in l.a is the same kind of lifestyle.

Powerful statement. Granted, peace comes from within, but when I am truly and completely at peace, I have no reason to create. In the development of my spirituality, I lost touch with creating all together. That was my experience. My art comes from very human feelings and experiences, after all, we are human. Why pretend I'm not?

You can do it here in LA because you are stronger than those around you in general. Eventually all the posers and wannabes who cruise on no effort will run out of steam and you'll be the last man standing. It's not city that will make you, it's you.
