*Canteen*
Alyson:(see lola n ella)hey there!(she grab some gummi worms n make her way to her friends)so how is the video coming?
Ella:(confused)video?i thought we were working on a song..if there is going to be a camera,i totally need to get some new lip gloss..like,now!
Lola:(rolls her eyes)we are doing a video,silly!(turns to alyson)we're just in the song part of the process right now..
Alyson:(nodds n bite a piece of candy in half)(she hope to find demi at the canteen)
Lola:demi n colby,though,are going to make it pretty easy..the two of them are like peas in a pod!demi wrote these great lyrics,n colby sort of just knew exactly where to take them..it was pretty awesome to watch..
Ella:yeah,awesome..
Alyson:(feel jealous she n demi should make music together not demi n colby)(shake her head n force a smile)so..u guys would have loved to see what tess came up with at our meeting..

*With Demi*
Demi:(searching for joe)(hear a footsteps)(turns around)
Colby:(jogging up the path)
Demi:having fun so far?its pretty magical,right?
Colby:magic isn't real..
Demi:(look over him curiously)
Colby:hey,do u want to sit down?
Demi:(nodds)(they sit down)
Colby:so,uh,u saw me earlier,right?talking to my dad?
Demi:(noods)
Colby:i guess u figured out that he isn't exactly physched to have me going here..
Demi:(feel a rush of sympathy)
Colby:its not that my dad doesnt like music..i mean,he does..we listen to the radio all the time while we're working..
Demi:(confused)
Colby:my dad builds sailboats n my younger brother n i help out in the summer..my brother totally loves it,but i'd rather be playing my guitar..
Demi:so then its good you're here..he let u come..thats got to mean something,right?
Colby:(shook his head)(take a deep breath)its not that simple..he could pick me up at any moment..the only reason he let me come in the first place is becuz we weren't that busy..but if her gets a lot of work,he'll be packing my nags no matter if he lost money on tuition..even if i was having a great time,i dont it would be really matter..
Demi:well,he's not here yet..so lets not worry abt it until we see his truck..plus,we have song to practise n a winning video to make..this is no time to get bummed out..
Colby:thanks demi..lets just keep this between us,if u dont mind..i know we haven't known each other long,but u seem like someone who knows how to keep a secret..n i wouldn't want people to treat me funny..
Demi:of course!(frown)joe!(stand up n dusted off her shorts)
Colby:everything all right?
Demi:sure..its just i was supposed to meet joe,n now im superlate!
Colby:joe jonas?he seems cool to come back here n help out..i'd love to have career like that..
Demi:(nodds)(waves goodbye)(heads down the path n nearly collides with tess)
Tess:hey!watch where u are going!(see colby)oh,i hope i didn't interrupt anything..(raise her eyebrow)
Demi:no,not at all..colby n i were just talking..
Tess:well,its good that ur getting to know each other..this session is all abt new friendships..speaking of which,i need to meet my group..its so great getting to know all of them..especially joe!(shot demi a smug look)
Demi:(smiles)have fun!(leaves)(she's hoping that she'd have time to catch joe before his group meeting)

*Joe's Cabin*
Joe:(laying on the bed n looking up the ceiling)
Nick:(walk in)whats wrong with you?
Joe:(sighs)well,i was going to tell demi something..but..
Nick:thats the big mystery!(tease him)not that im not having a good time surrounded by insects and bears..but it seems like ur freaking out over nothing..what were u going to tell her?that u like hanging out with her?
Joe:(shocked)yeah,well,sort of..i just wanted her to know that its not just camp rock that made me clean up my act..its demi,too..
Nick:(nodds approvingly)thats great,joe..so just tell her..she'll be flattered..plus,the longer u keep it in,the weirder you're going to feel abt saying anything..
Joe:(see sander)hey!have u seen demi?
Sander:i saw her back on the path with colby..they're probably working on our song..
Joe:(nodds)(waves goodbye at sander n nick)(he feels worried n uneasy becuz now demi n colby make song together)

*Lakeside Stage*
Demi:dont be nervous..it gets easier..the first time i got on a stage here,they got to recue my music cuz the words just wouldn't come out..
Colby:oh,im not worried abt performing,really..the only thing that makes me nervous is the idea of leaving..but u know..my dad does respect success..maybe if we can win this video competition,he'll let me stay..
