My mac totally locked up after downloading and I got a pop up that said, "DO NOT INSTALL". I couldn't do anything after that, all was locked up, so I force-quit all apps, restarted and immediately trashed all iShowU apps. Scary...

so i did this and when i record it records but then when i hit stop it just starts a new video... then i go find the .mov file and i can't open it. what should i do?

@LOLOLFilms make sure it is the right way to stop it. You can look up a tutorial for it or search it on google.

F-ME! It worked! I had Snapz and wasn't able to get it again on my rebooted mac. I tried Screenflick and all I kept getting was skipping video and sound that was out of sync. I found your youtube movie and BAM! I never used iShowU so I look forward to working with it (hoping it functions better than screenflick and just as good as snapz-but cheaper :) Thank you!
