I'm glad I didn't hold my breath, but dear god, this is amazing to finally see. Wish I hadn't spent 20 bucks on plug-ins!
Does this also work on the archos 7? My 5's screen cracked and my battery dock is being stupid with not charging or working well and instead of fixing the bastard I might just go right ahead and get a 7. Is there a dock for the 7?

yes there is a dock...and yes it works.
i still bought the plugins after doing this hack...although this hack does allow for free plugins it is not the main goal...stickin it to the man yah digg?
