Every town along I-5 has been affected by gangs. I grew up in Medford and have great memories living there. It would disgust me to see how it is now.

All this fighting between people about Eugene VS Medford... Portland squashes all other Oregon cities. Come visit Portland!

trust me the gang problem has exploded in even the last 3 years. and no i am not a upperclass bigot you fool, i grew up in Willow glen housing projects, Central Point (as you know CP pretty much sits in Medford) i literally had a drug dealer standing out side my window each night slanging meth not to mention the Norteno's and Sureno's have boomed. for instince, travel to West medford, what do you see? alot of X3 and SUR, or NK taggings on houses even.

the police keep half the gang related crimes from the press, so white bigots like yourself don't even know about whats going on. the first time medford public heard about gangs was after the shooting occured near South Medford Highschool. but before that there have been plenty of stabbings, i have almost been stabbed just cause i wore a Red T shirt, the fuckers had a knife to me 'G-checking' so fuck off you shit. i've even been jumped just cause of the Color T i was wearing.

It's beautiful here, if you like clean air with blue skies, fantastic drinking water, fishing, camping, boating, skiing, come here...but bring plenty of money as this area always has been economically depressed and expensive...go figure. Wages are low, land is high priced...but living is good regardless.

Oh please, Medford is not that bad. At least it's not overrun with hippies, hipsters and college jocks like in Eugene. It's also surrounded by the best scenery Oregon has to offer with smaller populations as compared to the Northern end of the state. And if you care about night life so much, there is ample bars and you can also go to Ashland if you want something more high end. There's a lot of options here. But, hey, the more people move out the merrier; Eugene's gotten way too big anyways.
