@ZGuy0fSci In castelvania games, its simple. you have a default of 3 usable lives. you can accumulate more as you progress, after all three lives are gone, (with the exception of Castlevania: Bloodlines) you have the option to continue or end game. continuing puts you back the start of the stage. say if you are on stage 3-3, you have to cintue, you would to back to stage 3-1, but if oyu only lost a life, you would og back to the start of 3-3. P.S. When you die, you lose everything.
