This is a review of Dewey's paper presenting the state of knowledge on cycles in the late 1960s. It overviews his interdisciplinary findings and presents the implications for our improved understanding of the world in which we live. Some of the findings are quite profound and still not properly recognised by scientists today.

For the paper on which this talk is based see http://www.cyclesresearchinstitute.org/dewey/case_for_cycles.pdf

There is an interdisciplinary cycles discussion forum open to all people to search and read, and people can join to participate, at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/cyclesi/

  • I believe in cycles. You have peaked my interest, thanks for this information, I will read up on Edward Dewey. Thigs do seem to happen over and over again. Thanks again for the video!

  • Be sure to read Edward Dewey's "The Case for Cycles" available if you search that phrase.

  • By corn starch do you mean cymatics experiments? Yes, they are an important way to understand nature as we can see what happens at atomic and galactic scales right in front of our eyes. See my "How to make a Universe" series, especially part 2.

  • I think that geometry is very important in the Universe and often forgotten in physics. There exists periodicity at all scales, just like atoms in a crystal, so we need to look that the reasons for that. Standing waves explain why things have certain preferred distances. Cubes and Rhombic dodecahedrons are space filling and any wave structures that fit in them are also.

  • hey ray, I really dig your ideas. Have you checked out any of the talk about "sacred geometry" and the videos on the

    "corn starch" experiments?
