The Green Effect

SunChips and National Geographic have joined forces to create the Green Effect, an initiative to inspire people to take small steps for big change.

We'll award $20,000 each to five people or groups that have compelling ideas for green change in their communities.

Online voters will choose one winner, and a panel of judges will select the remaining four.

$20,000 wouldn't buy two solar panels to power crap. Recycling bins on every corner would be a eye soar. I don't get it, I live in Colorado where this summer is the coldest I've ever encounter. Most scientist are jumping off the bandwagon of global hypocrisy. I think we can be good stewards of this planet without having to change our lives upside down. I do think you all should recycle because you see how much stuff you consume every week. If you argue against that then you're all dumb.
