Kayambuvarna Varika.....
kayambuvarna varika ni kanna
karalinu kavita ni karvarna kanna
O Krishna,
You who have the complexion of a"Kayambu"flower(a deep
blue-colored flower),come.
O Kanna, You are the song of my heart.

manamayil nin nava mukiloli tedi
mathi marannaadunnu madabhara keli
mathi mukhi vadhu radha marhavillayi
mukiloli manivarna nin kulir maril
My mind, the peacock, seeking Your new cloud-like hue, dances in exaltation , forgetting itself.
Your beloved Radha , the moon-faced one, shines like a rainbow as she lies on Your cool chest,
my dark-complexioned jewel.
refrain:
radha madhava rasavilola ragavilolakane
muralidhara manamohana krishna munijana palakane
madhumasa manjarikal vidarna vrindavanam
madabhara murali gana vimohanam
madhura nilavarni madu malarani kunjam
tava nata notsava surabhila rangam
Vrindavanam with its fully blossomed flowers in spring is enchanting with the exalting songs of Your flute.
The sweet flowery creepers intervene in the light of the full moon, setting the fragrant stage for Your
festive dance.
mama manam oru puja madumalar kanna
tava pada talir chudi nirupama bhangi
mati varuvolam mana mayileri vihara murari hridaya vihari radha madhava...
My mind becomes a blossoming flower to be offered to worship as it falls at Your tender feet of incomparable beauty,
O Kanna. O Indweller of my heart, Murari, let me ascend the peacock of my mind and revel in You.
It touches my heart so much..
i even forgot about material desires for few minutes =)
