Another example are the bells of the abbey church of Novacella/ Neustift bei Brixen. They are swung very high, that you mean, they fly out of the tower. A very extreme south tyrolese bell ringers style! In Tyrol are the bells of the parish church in Söll near Kufstein an example of bigness on the lower weight! The bell chair is a little shaky and Oberascher in Salzburg must found the right bells for it. I hope, you understand, what i mean!

@Obwaldnerglocken You're welcome! It's absolutly a pleasure. I don't live in south tirol, but I felt that region is one of the most interesting places under the campanology profile.

@96Sudtirol Esattamente! Sono state rinnovate l'anno scorso.

@Flavioswing Video molto bello. Complimenti. Il suono di queste campane è magnifico ed è registrato perfettamente. Finalmente una registrazione senza distorsioni. Bravo
What a surprise from Italy for me! Once I tried to ask the user fulgurafrango 74, from whom are this beautiful bells! But at that time I didn´t know the ríght word. It is better to write bell founder than bell caster. So the bells from Pieve di Marebbe/ Enneberg are founded from Luigi Colbacchini from Trento. They are very good, typical italian, but they sound a little of metal sheet! Therefore the big bell is not very heavy!

@unterlechnermarkus I think the diffrence on shape on each state it depens on the local culture. For example,in some regions of Italy, also now, the challenge thruogh the villages is "get the bigger bell than the neighbours..but of course on the cheap way"= less kg=thin bells.I felt in other regions it's "get the better bells than the nighbours" so "bell founders"must give good quality and to do it=new bells heavier!Consider that a caster in the past develop the "ultra-thin shape"=c/1 of 1200kg..
