REJECTED HBO JOHN ADAMS TRAILER

At first, it was hard to picture the great Paul Giamatti as Founding Father John Adams, but he certainly made it work...But not without a little adjustment from HBO. You see, although test audiences LOVED certain scenes from the mini series, they loved them for all the "wrong" reasons. Paul Giamatti's performance was considered "too reminiscent" of other performances of his, and the audience reacted with loud cheers and laughter at the most inopportune points of the movie. So, some editing was ordered, and the rest is considered movie lore. We have procured the ORIGINAL trailer for the miniseries for your listening pleasure. You can get a glimpse of how it would have turned out if they left well enough alone. Would it have been a better product? We'll leave that up to you...ENJOY!!!
