Volunteers from Rotary Clubs in the Seattle area gather on a Saturday morning to process tons of fresh produce donated by local farmers and packers. What's the value of fresh beans, apples, pears, onions, potatos, compared with processed foods? It's a complex question. People need the best nutrition they can get. Especially kids. And people need skills to cook fresh foods. Luckily, people don't need skills to give their kids a fresh apple or pear.

  • This was a fantastic RFH work party. 170 Rotarians and friends packed 64,500 pounds of green beans, pears and apples!
