I saw the Butter band back in 1966 in Berkeley. Bloomfield, Bishop, Davenport, Arnold and Butterfield. It was intense alright! Someone called the Jefferson Airplane opened for them.

No, they lack the intensity that Butterfield brought. Don't get me wrong though, these guys are good!

He doesn't have Butterfield's singing voice but he can play the harp just as well. If it was 1964 these guys would be going places!
