Oregon State University Senior Project:
The objective of this project is to develop a system consisting of a controller and a manipulator
that helps provide the operator more natural control. The controller should provide the operator
a sense of how the manipulator is interacting with the environment by using haptics (like force
feedback).
The idea is to build a controller that the operator wears to translate their own arms motion into
the manipulator to interact with a remote environment. To provide more intuitive control the
controller should use haptic techniques that convey the physical limitations and interactions the
manipulator is experiencing.
