Tom Phillips casts an Apple 162 meters during the Jersey Casting Open 2007.
Incredible cast and much further than most will ever cast real fishing tackle.
The rules state that the apple must be fairly intact after landing. To ensure that, the caster must lift the leader. If it stays attached and still looks like an Apple, it counts.
Not many Apples survive the journey.
Tom again spanked the Apple 147 meters in the Jersey Open 2008.
Form lines obviously count for something.
