  • Blue Scholars approach daily and commonfound problems that real people face every day. The hardships and struggles the society must encounter is what they rap about. The true meaning behind their words is not telling you what's what, but asking you what you will do to change.

Lil Wayne? Well, he has a dick on his forehead.

  • Im a fucking freshman and i could write Lil Wayne Song

  • I would just like to announce that im filipino, names Bayani an none yall know what it means fools so when i found this i just jizzed all down the street. thanks for posting. these guys are brothas keepin it fuckin real as ever in todays hip hop

  • @Duo1996 you interjection is appreciated, I'm all for constructive arguments (which this has become far from). I have only heard Wayne rhyme about 3 things: Pussy, Money and Weed. While I love all three, it pisses me off that he is pretty much a household name while conscious hip hop artists like Senim Silla, Asheru and so many more remain unknown. What kind of fucked up reflection of society is that? Wayne may be fun, but his music is pointless.

  • @Wharrrrrgarbl @TheSplintr The only REAL difference between the two is the environment that influences the focus' of the music the produce. I'm sorry to interject but after reading all of the chain comments i felt i must reply.

  • @Wharrrrrgarbl @TheSplintr You may have misunderstood but they're preaching to the minorities out there that have problems WITH white people, so i have no clue where your coming from. And Wayne doesn't just get high and mumble into a mic, he has a very brilliant mind that bounces around randomly from one topic to the other to form very cohesive and magnificent lyrics, just like Blue Scholars.

  • @Wharrrrrgarbl @TheSplintr Which doesn't make it any less enjoyable, just a bit less meaningful. And at the same time Blue Scholars has some rhymes that tie together amazingly with incredible depth and quality, but not very good to play around alot of people and are VERY racial and cultural specific. Also, where in the world did you get white middle class people that don't get any pussy out of ANY of their lyrics???

  • @Wharrrrrgarbl @TheSplintr I think you guys both have excellent points and some just plain dumb statements that came from your own rage. Lil' Wayne IS one of the best mainstream rapper's i've heard in a while because he does have some very good rhymes that are so random a 3 year old high on acid couldn't think of them, but they honestly don't have much deeper meaning.

  • @Wharrrrrgarbl Fuck you are a waste of time. I never called you an idiot, and don't worry, the amnt of pussy I get is just fine with me. Wayne's lyrics are not clever as fuck. Canibus, CYNE, Binary Star: that's clever as fuck. If you think a dude high as shit mumbling into mic is impressive, then once again we won't agree on anything. Speaking to you has actually become a chore so I won't respond to anymore of your childish attempts at goading me.

  • @TheSplintr Yeah I'm an idiot, because you don't understand Wayne's lyrics...

I'm sorry not all hiphop is so specifically targeted at white middle class people that don't get any pussy.

I'm not missing out on really good hiphop, don't worry about that. I listen to plenty of good hip hop. Wayne and Blu Scholars aren't really included in that, they're both good, but neither are so good that I listen to them all the time.

  • @Wharrrrrgarbl This is getting old very fast. I enjoy music with meaning - I don't understand what the fuck Wayne is talking about 98% of the time (not because they are smart lyrics, but because they make no fucking sense). If you really think his lyrics are great, I honestly believe you are missing out on some really good hip hop. Wayne's lyrics are devoid of depth and substance. If you can't see that we will never agree on this debate.
