Are you implying that the Australian Defence Force was NOT in Iraq? In 2003 the Australian government of that time supported a weapons disarmament in Iraq, and was one of the four most substantial combat force contingents during the 2003 invasion of Iraq, under the operational codename Operation Falconer. Part of its contingent were among the first forces to enter Iraq after the official "execute" order.

  • @usmcsniper45

The initial Australian force consisted of; 3 Royal Australian Navy ships, 500 special forces soldiers, P-3 Orion, C-130 Hercules transport aircraft and 14 F/A-18s. Combat forces committed were later withdrawn during 2003. In 2005 Operation Catalyst saw the contribution of a 2000 strong force. These points aside mate, our soldiers experienced the same war as the americans, so dont you dare be so ignorant as to say "australians didnt do any fighting while they were there!"

  • @usmcsniper45

Our proud nation contributed heavily to the security and reconstruction of Iraq, I personally know mates who have seen some horrific results first hand of IEDs, suicide bombings, and civil unrest. Thankfully no servicemen or women lost their lives during the Iraq operations. NOW... for the sad truth: Our forces fought in the heart of the conflict and received no casualties, we did however have wounded.

  • @usmcsniper45

Our forces were well prepared, well trained, well equipped, SHARP, SWITCHED ON blokes who should be fucking proud of what they did.

I cannot say the same for other nations that contributed forces...

Britain contributed a large contingent as well as America both the major-league nations both employed different strategies, different tactics, different weapons, equipment.... MEN.

  • @usmcsniper45

It comes down to that, it doesn't matter much if you have the best of everything if your soldiers aren't well prepared or trained to a certain extent in lieu with the operational requirements, lives may be lost due to poor training or poor tactics. Australia has neither! look up our history of warfare and you will see a proud nation strong and willing to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.

  • @usmcsniper45 also, get your head out of your ass

  • @usmcsniper45 excuse me for my negativity, but are you a fuckwit?

  • @MrHoldenmaloo Hey, don't lump all of us in with that ignorant douchebag. Some of us Americans actually do appreciate and acknowledge all of the support you and our other allies have given us, when you really didn't have to. Afghanistan and Iraq are -way- out of Australia's way, yet you still contributed to the war effort, whether the cause was just or not. And I've seen videos of your people in action, definitely some smart, skillful blokes over there.

    Much respect to Australia. =)

  • @usmcsniper45 I dont get it with you yanks. You say that we are shit but you also ask for our skill and experience to assist in YOUR wars. In most recent times Iraq and Afganistan. Also you think that you are the best all the time and follow rules but you guys are not much better than the enemys that you ate fighting eg. The only Nuclear weapon that has ever been used to kill was used by the americans in japan out of anger and killed an extensive amount of civillians

  • And in vietnam our troops were smater in Vietnam they did not go around smoking or spraying deoterant the only time we had contact is when we opened fire but they americas we always getting shot at first thats how good we are but you think you are better but you do all the little thigs wrong in vietnam BBQ At the HQ oh yea they not going to smell that you just lead the whole Vietkong to you're HQ Dumbass americans

  • Well there in Afganishan Is it a blood bath?

  • @usmcsniper45 u ignorant wanker, if you ever took a break from the protein powder to dip your head into a history book you'll know that out of the thousands upon thousands of men Australia sent to Vietnam only 501 were killed much better than the American ratio and heres another interesting fact, Australian soldiers were so well trained and diciplined that on average they would use 7 times less ammunition than an American soldier... so don't pretend your better than us you trigger happy moron

  • The Australian Defence force, despite its size is very technological and Capable, more importantly they have very skilled well trained men, Im quite sure any Commando can Match a Ranger, and same with the more SASR can Match a Delta or (maybe im still err about this) a british SAS opperative, I do not say surpass however, becuase to surpass these forces you would have to be a genetically enhanced supersoldier, all Spec Ops are usually the best they can bem god bless the ADF, hope to be a pilot

  • @usmcsniper45 what do you mean blood bath for the aussies, we had a 100:1 (or maybe 500:1 0_O) ratio for kills, it was much less than a bloodbath, and you have probably got this comment before but we were in Iraq
