Seeing The Multiverse

A painting of what I think it would be like to be able to see the universe outside our universe (the multiverse)


At the end is a picture taken by the Hubble telescope. It shows just how common galaxies like our own really are. Each containing billions of stars, suns, and planets.

Try not to feel too important, people. ;)

In order to see the multiverse, your eyes would have to be able to see an infinite amount of objects at the exact same time. The drawing is briliant, but it dosent even begin to show what it would be like to see it.

When I painted this, I saw it more as symbolic. The top part of the painting is a mirror of the lower, except things have been turned inside out; as if 3 dimensions had turned into 4.

When you look at the man, you can see around him as well.

The "multiverse" here is used loosely. I imagine it as space, in a direction we cannot perceive, and I try to paint it in a way we can.

Everything in another universe may have completely different laws. So, while another universe may exist, there may be no such thing as 'light' as we know it, so therefore no way to see the other universe. Who knows? There is an infinite possibility of even my ass being a universe.
